Volunteer Opportunities

The City of Frederick Communications Department is responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Event productions
  • Field event coverage
  • In-house Audio/Video work
  • In-house commercials
  • Public service announcements
  • Recording of public meetings and hearings

An excellent way to keep active in the Audio Visual field, the Communications Department Volunteer Program offers career building opportunities while working in a professional video production facility alongside City staff.

Requirements

  • Be over the age of 18 and have reliable transportation
  • Have good communication skills
  • Willing to learn and work as a team player
  • Able to multitask
  • Able to lift heavy objects
